For the record, that's where the username came from, SAN = Storage Area Network...I'm the SAN man. Grew up in the Dallas area (Plano/Richardson to be exact). Graduated and went to UT Dallas for a year; hated it, dropped out, ran out of money, moved to Seattle to live with mom. Before I moved I went and worked at Philmont Boy Scout Ranch for my first of three summers in 2001. Once in seattle, I worked in the corporate world for about a year for a good company with good benefits, but not nearly close to the position I wanted (I was the office bitch). During my first summer at Philmont (aka "The ranch"), I met someone who introduced me to the field of Outdoor Education/Recreation which intrigued me. I searched for a school offering such a program that wouldn't require me to donate my right leg and left arm to finance. Found the University of Southern Colorado (since renamed Colorado State University-Pueblo) in Pueblo, CO, and went there for about two years mostly towards a degree in Outdoor Recreation. For my birthday, a friend of mine organized a "little" gathering of her friends and their friends, etc. Anyway, that's when/where I met Shaun who I have been in a committed relationship ever since :-D Oh, in case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm gay. So yeah, read on (so long as you're not some conservative freak who thinks I should/will burn in hell; but that's ok, because I don't believe in hell, so HAH!)
